Friending 101

Friending 101 is an opportunity for us to connect with our community in a meaningful way. Paul and Jillian promise to foster a safe friend making experience, where your light can shine as bright as you want it to! Activities include "Get to know you" Bingo, discussing what is important to you in a friendship and interactive games to let your guard down. This event will be held Monday, Feb 24th from 5:30pm-7:00pm

Coming soon!

Voice therapy group with Hilary Weissberg, MS, CCC-SLP

Tuesdays at 6pm, in-person at Prism

Learn and practice voice techniques in order to speak confidently as your authentic self with Hilary Weissberg, MS, CCC-SLP, certified speech-language pathologist, who specializes in working with the trans, non-binary, and gender diverse community. This group will be held in a relaxed and fun setting in which to explore, create, and practice desired changes in voice and speech. Hilary will help to discover and uncover your authentic voice--the voice that aligns best with your true identity. This process takes time. It is technical as much as it is intuitive and self-reflective, ensuring that you are not simply "putting on" or fabricating a voice, but you are accessing, over time, the voice that naturally expresses who you are. Tentative start date Feb. 11.

Speed friending!

You've heard of speed dating? Well, Prism is excited to offer - speed friending! Meet new LGBTQ+ friends in a structured, supportive and FUN atmosphere. TENTATIVE date Feb. 24, 6pm.
